Plane
Friends fell
like bombs, from
my flight’s clutch.
Explosive and
destructive
down to
bang.
And I am like
a stubborn-soaring plane
without companions.
I still know how
it felt to hold
a warm
friend weight
within.
And I am emptied
void
devoid
all
alone
exposed
to hot bright streaks
of cloud
and coloured dun.
I let the
heavy togetherness
fall
in friendship
bomb drops.
I’m alone.

Loneliness
leaves.
Fall away
of folly.
Joyful sense.
Nothing
left empty.
Heart
brimming.
Eyes
swelling
with sound and lights
and life, dancing away.
Time flying
as the crow flies:
desperate, quick.
Darkness
fleeing.
Euphoria
fleeing.
Darkness,
desperate, quick
as the crow flies.
Time flying,
And life dancing away.
With sounds and lights
swelling.
Eyes
brimming.
Heart
left empty.
Nothing.
Joyful sense
of folly
fall away.
Leaves
loneliness.
